This book is a gem!

It has so many interesting perspectives offered by successful business people about how they have built supportive company cultures. Many of these people think a little out of the box. If you want to have engaged, positive employees who project pride in their jobs, then this book will grab your interest. It has so many constructive suggestions that are easy to act upon. I have always been impressed when I came into contact with people who were happy with their jobs and who felt like they were an integral part in their company’s success and who obviously wanted to make it better. It is easy to feel this attitude! Learn how to grow a company culture that makes its employees feel genuinely valued and accepted and motivated to give it their best efforts and loyalty.

A practical resource for building a strong, productive culture at work.

In When Culture Clicks, the team that produces the elite “Culturati” conference each year in Austin collects management secrets from the leaders they most admire at companies like Netflix, Google, Rackspace, Patagonia and Southwest Airlines. The testimonies are remarkably intimate, often playful, and always relevant to the challenge of inspiring teams.

If you’re looking for proven-effective strategies for employee engagement and retention, you’ll find them here. I’m reading the book in bite-sized chunks and getting fresh perspective (let your “hallway influencers” teach you how to communicate with the troops) and actionable ideas (how to assess your team’s culture) in almost every interview. The book is full of specific recommendations from successful executives (and the thought-leaders who advise them) about where to focus effort and how to get started.

Culturati says culture is “values in action.” That’s the idea they’re unpacking in When Culture Clicks. It’s well-curated wisdom from leaders who’ve fostered productivity, accountability, innovation and loyalty by helping people live their values at work.

Great info, great format.

In a world where nearly all of the information we need is at our fingertips, one piece I often find lacking is critical insights into other businesses. What are they doing well? What are we missing? How do they look at this topic differently than we do? The Culture Book does an exceptional job on delivering these snapshots into some of the most respected companies around. It's not about advice or telling you what to do, but these meaningful glimpses into how thought-leaders view culture and engagement, and how other organizations find success.

Originally, I ordered one copy for myself, but found it to be great for clients, prospects, and colleagues. I have now gifted several others to delighted recipients who found this to be much more meaningful than traditional business gifts. It sparks such a great dialogue and allows for meaningful follow-up.

This is such a beautiful book.
We have a copy in our office.

This is such a beautiful book. We have a copy in our office's lobby and I've noticed visitors always enjoy flicking through the pages while they're waiting. There are some great case studies in this book from cool companies like Ben & Jerry’s, Rackspace, Accenture, WP Engine, SailPoint, & BusinessSolver. The book is inspiring, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
